It was a wedding... a very special friend's wedding! I call her 'Princess!' n gosh!! was she lookin exquisite?!! It was amazing! There was lots of work... i was the 'bridesmaid!' :-) n i loved every lil bit of it! From the mehndi (where her hairband was a pair of Chanel gogs!!!), to the masti(ek taraf bandooke aur dusri taraf bhangra!), to the dance, to getting her ready (ummmm.... 4 times!!!! exquisite each time!), to getting the groom to wake up his family for the wedding! (:-D at 2 in the morning, just before the feras the tired baraatis decided to conveniently doze off while leaving the groom in the lurch and looking for someone to get him married!!!!)
I have never seen a more radiant bride... she was every bit the Princess! Beautiful in flowing pink... with shades of rust and red off and on! Each role carried out with easy elan! (Only the saris sambhaloed by urs truly... yep she got complimented for her sari wearing skills!) :-) Yeah yeah yeah... smile on!! I was also a permanent supply of tissues, last minute help, sambhaloin her pallus (which her husband has now dutifully taken over) and jus pamperin her a wee bit extra! (after all, it was her day!) Miss ya babes! Hope ya dint cry too much!!!
Well... it doesn't end here.. after a straight 24 hrs awake and with barely 5 hours of sleep in more than 48 hours and a night in the train before that, I was back in the train, cold n freezing, tired and sleepy!! (n soon i go back to being annoying by referring to myself in the third person!) :-D
