From a friend...

Here's something a friend wrote n showed it to me... Personally, I luv the way his heart pours out into the stuff he writes.. This one's a dedication for someone he respects a lot! (yup, this is your ode Ankur! keep writing buddy!!):

An Ode to a Guide, a Leader, a seeker, a believer, an inspirer… A Friend

Lots of words to write… lot of thoughts to flow…

But now when I am doing it… Just can’t find words to show…

But one thing’s for sure… we’ll live in your Afterglow…

How do I start…? I am a little confused…

No PJs for you… to which you are so used… J

Last autumn it was... when I stepped into this team…

Since then Malini… You have made the journey very much like a pleasant Dream…

I was a little shaky... But you were the perfect guide…

Nurturing me, bringing out my best... Not giving up when I was at my worst…

With patience my potential you envisaged… n direction you gave, when I lost my way…

A coach… a tutor… a mentor… a Guide…

A friend, a philosopher, a treasure far n wide…

An in born Leader that you really are… coordinating with devotion and an unending zeal…

An Inspiration for most of us by far… pragmatic in the ways that you deal…

So comfortable you make it look… even when the things go really crook… J

Humbly today I declare… you are leaving behind a well-paved way

For us to sail and fly our mast!

My heart says today… it will not let down; the Broadway you have set for us…

New goals to seek, more dreams to pour…

Wish you all the best for new heights to soar

With the confidence that cultivates in you… there lots of success in store for you..

I hope the thread that binds us… Always be there…

I pray to God one more time… where you are, he always takes care…

Double Standards!!

This is as lame as it gets!! Screw the Govt.!! What a patheticcally half baked thing to do??!! Like a terrorist who can access blogs cannot have an email??!!! gosh!! talk about myopia and the Indian Govt is tops!!!

A silent prayer of thanks escapes her heart... all the people she loves are fine!! (ref: Mumbai Blasts)

She's quiet... not her usual self... still a li'l anxious... she's not sure why...

She stands in her balcony and looks beyond to see a train passing between the greens and wonders... 'will this too turn to scream and smoke?'

She looks closer to home... a green meadow... lots of trees... almost paradise (but not quite)... she wonders...

Sochiye to lagta hai, bheed me hai sab tanha...

Another prayer escapes her heart, a prayer to bless the souls and families of those who lost a dear one yesterday...

Come accross a moment in time where you've created your own haven? Let the world go beserk... you're ok 'coz you know what you have to do n you know how to get there?!

People comin, people talkin, people laughing (yeah you laugh with them), people screaming (you hear it...), people politicking (you don't even bother....), people running (so..??), people killing time (like it makes a difference...?), people just about doing anything (don't know, don't care!!)...

You've receded to your space... or maybe you've spaced out... but it's a great feeling rite? PEACE!!

Renaissance

Just went back in time a lil and came back with these two poems. These lines have been resonating in my heart for quite some time now; thought i'll put 'em down here...
